What Do You Want From This Blog in 2009?
A new year is right around the corner! This is a time to reflect on the past year and think about what we want from 2009.
One of the things that has been great for me about 2008 is the time I’ve spent contributing to Adoption Mosaic. I feel that I’ve gained so much from interviewing the adoption professionals that we’ve featured in The Constellation and on our website. In some of my first blog posts in 2009, I’ll be reflecting on those interviews.
Speaking of this blog, one of my goals for 2009 is to post more regularly. While I have tons of ideas, I really want to hear from all of you about what you’re most interested in seeing here. What do you want to learn more about? What do you want to discuss? What topic are you discussing with your friends and family right now? What topic have you been afraid to bring up?
It’s not always easy for adoptive parents, adoptees, first parents, and other members of the constellation to find a place where they feel safe exploring their feelings and asking questions. My goal for 2009 is to have this blog grow into a place where we can all learn from one another.
Have a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration and I’ll see you here in 2009!
